A light golden sparkling apple cider, bursting with fresh apple aromas, fruity flavours and a refreshing finish. To be brewed as alcoholic (approx. ABV 3.5%).

A specifically selected 5g Cider Yeast is supplied with this Brewing Extract.

Recommended to be brewed with (10L):

Alcoholic Apple Cider

1 x Coopers Dextrose (1kg) - note only requires 500g per 10L brew
1 x Coopers Carbonation Drops (250g)

Coopers Apple Cider – Easy Recipe

Ingredients

1 × Coopers Apple Cider (1.7kg can)
1 × Coopers Carbonation Drops (or priming sugar for bottling)
Top up with cool water to 20 litres

(Optional: 500g white sugar/dextrose for a slightly drier finish and higher ABV)

Method

Sanitise all equipment.
Add the contents of the Coopers Apple Cider can into your fermenting vessel.
Dissolve with a little hot water, then top up with cold water to 20 litres total. Stir well.
Sprinkle the yeast from under the lid onto the surface. Fit lid and airlock.
Ferment at 18–24°C until gravity is stable (about 7 days).
Bottle with Coopers Carbonation Drops (1 per 375ml, 2 per 750ml).
Store bottles at room temp for 2 weeks, then chill.

Makes ~20 litres of crisp, refreshing cider (~4.5% ABV).
